They have also included several funding requests for improvements on existing traditional golf courses.
Actually, there are six frisbee golf courses in Austin.

Obviously, fiscal insanity knows no bounds. However, President Obama should remember that eventually Liberals run out of other people's money to spend.
Disc Golf!!! Now that's the kind of stimulus I'm talking about! Do a YOUTUBE search for Cubby Disc Golf and see some great Disc Golf Hole in One Videos and then you will know what the buzz is all about. You can check also check out my blog to follow my Disc Golf adventures.
Hannity on fox never "heard of frisbee golf" Ok, everyone out there blast him with e-mails.
As a disc golfer I can tell you that is WAY too much money to spend on one course. An average course costs about 1/40th of that. One nice thing is that courses cost almost nothing to maintain and are almost always FREE TO PLAY which is key in this economy. I would encourage everyone to give it a try if you've never tried it. It is kind of like bowling in the woods.
@Jake, keep in mind this is a 36-hole course and the total cost probably includes the cost of acquiring the land. You're absolutely correct that planning the course and installing tees and "holes" wouldn't cost nearly $866k by itself.
To all that complain about so-called earmarked projects in the bill, please realize that none of these projects are actually earmarked in the bill. NONE! This is a list of proposed projects that could apply for federal money and go through a proper and transparent vetting process before the money is awarded.
