Americans stood up and elected the peace-at-any-price candidate by a significant majority. Anyone who is surprised by the response of our adversaries abroad--that this is a chance to push--should study carefully what is happening and will be happening in the months and years ahead. Granted, many will reach the conclusion that this is all Bush's fault. Those can't be helped. But there may be a learning experience for those willing to see the world as it is, not just the way they "hope" it would be. It will be a costly and painful learning experience, but that can't be helped.
