Here is an issue to discuss:
Glenn Reynolds linked to a Volokh article on the Mass challenge to Defense of Marriage Act this week. Apparently state rights are not good enough, they want federal recognition through the courts on full faith and credit (something Sully said he would never support). Sully has been now been crying how when he travels out of Massachusetts he is “divorced” from his husband(I am not sure if that means he can get some strange on the side, but that is how he described it). Okay, snark aside, I get why Sullivan wants to overturn and get rid of DOMA, but why challenge DOMA in the courts? Sullivan of course does not challenge his Democratic Party pals and Barack Obama about this. Why not? They control congress. They can repeal DOMA right now can’t they? Just another example of Sullivan’s hypocrisy. He would rather play the victim and cry about Palin, Bush and McCain. Attacking McCain, who does Sully think he is? A conservative? Sully's conservative soul died a long time ago. Well two of them are out of office and McCain is not exactly doing a lot out side of Arizona (and policy wise is more moderate than conservative).
Obama is thinking, "Baby Got Back!" Sarkozy is thinking, "Supermodel wife or no supermodel wife, I would soooo hit that!"
But...Obama didn't pick the owners of those delicious heineys to be his running mate (he picked a different ass altogether)so your joke fails.
No, Obama had to pick a dimwitted time-serving clod who regularly loses arguments with his own visage in the mirror. But hey, Biden's *distinguished-looking*. Talk about daddy issues...
Hmm. If you're going to pick one frame out of a video and claim that it shows something scandalous, you beg the question of why you didn't post the whole video.
Speaking of... why didn't you post the whole video? Not that this is serious business, but it just looks weak. And we all know that looking weak emboldens the terrorists.
I don't think it shows anything scandalous, do you?
But you're right, the fact that there is no video posted is veeeeery suspicious. Can't pull anything over on the likes of you! How long has it been since you graduated from detective school?
Possibly because the image shown above isn't from a video? It is a "Photo" from "Jason Reed" at Reuters."
Here's a better question: When will liberals learn to read?
You do know that "beg the question" doesn't mean "raise the question," right?
My first wife, in her younger days, had long curly hair like the girl in the photo. The brutha's couldn't keep their eyes off of her. They used to follow her around in the grocery store looking to make time. She came home freaked out enough times that I had to start to go along with her. Barry's just following the call of the wild.
What a stupid comment.
Does the DNC pay you per individual comment, or are you on salary?
Hey, remember when somebody throwing a shoe at somebody else was the funniest thing on TV for about two weeks? Well, I think this one is actually FUNNY!
Gee, if this were Bush it would knock Michael Jackson right off of page 1. But since Bush was married to an attractive, sweet woman and not RuPaul it never would be him.
I also think if SNL doesn't do something with this, they are hypocrites. ummm, nevermind. And tell Bambi if he starts whining, "Sarko made me do it!" Sarko is a Frenchman, if he didn't look all his friends (the female ones too) would make fun of him.
Well, what's going on here is obvious....this girl reminded him of the fact that Michelle's ghetto skank ass compares favorably to a caboose on the Illinois Central RR.
Yet another troll making another obviously stupid comment.
I make no attempt to hide my disagreements with President Obama's policies, but you are talking about the First Lady of the United States, you ignorant jerk. Your ugly comment about Ms. Obama has no place here...
And the best quip I heard of Obama is: "I have changed my stance on off shore drilling."
Who cares if he looked or not? It's fun, and he is a politician (so a legitimate target).
Bingo!
And besides, the real object of ridicule here is Sullivan, who is quite simply a jackass (who, it should also be noted with regularity, was amongst the first group of pro-Obama journos/bloggers invited to meet privately with the then President-elect).
Back to Andrew Sullivan...the unseemliness of his obsession with Palin's physiology knows no bounds. Why would a gay man talk about her boobs, nevermind body parts below the waist as he uncontrollably does? Reminds me of the gay guy on the new "Big Brother" who last night thought of one of the new roommates' boobs and said, "I just vomited in my mouth." Except in Sully's case he seems to be consumed with envy (or is it avarice) for female body parts. His abnormal obsession with them, in fact, is reminiscent of a serial killer who eats the genitals of his victims. When I say abnormal, I mean it.
As for Obama ogling, there's nothing abnormal about it but it's just one more thing that makes our "leader" look sadly common and classless.
Can it be that this is just a way in which the (still?) subconcious heterosexuality of Sullivan begins to emerge? Come on, Andrew, there is nothing to ashame of about heterosexuality in modern society.
You could be right. It's interesting, though - most normal, hetero men like Palin. Andy's much more of a feminazi in his visceral and vaguely psychotic loathing of her. Maybe he's not gay but actually a transgender-wannabe.
This is how desperate Obama is to quash the "first gay president" rumors.
Sullivan has been going non-stop slagging Palin the last few weeks. Its accurate to say he is obsessed with the woman. Meanwhile, there is only passing mention of the multiple enormous problems our nation currently faces.
Serious writer? I think not. (Sometimes I get the impression that the mainstream media is trying to distract us from the most far-reaching economic proposals in our nation's history- socialized medicine and cap & trade- by this pillar to post coverage of Michael Jackson and Sarah Palin. Not to mention Obama's serial blundering internationally.) |
